Over the summer, we shot act one of the spec pilot for "Post," a comedy about life in the reality world.

This is what we made over one weekend with a handful of people, a bunch of favors, and the kindness of Wallaine's employers (who let us shoot in their building).  Imagine what we can do with enough money to do it properly!

Since 2002, Visual Communications’ Armed With a Camera Fellowship for Emerging Media Artists has nurtured a new generation of Asian Pacific Americans to articulate their experiences and perspectives through the powerful medium of film. Along the way, we’ve seen AWC productions inspire newer generations of artists to pick up a motion picture camera and make their own movies, and additionally be showcased at festivals, community screenings, and online venues all over the world...

Now, on the cusp of the Fellowship’s Lucky 13th season, we’re appealing to YOU to insure that this ground-breaking community institution continues to inspire and equip tomorrow’s filmmaking masters.

Sophie (Lynn Chen), Leena (Sheetal Sheth), and Geraldine (Michelle Krusiec) have been true “frenemies” since elementary school. All
grown up and finding themselves in the city of Los Angeles, the ladies seek refuge from their isolation in a book club where they never actually talk about the book. Their subjects of interest? Sex, cannibalism, drugs and just about everything else you’d expect in such good company.

Five girlfriends return to their farm-filled hometown (in California's Central Valley) after their freshman year of college to throw a wedding for 18-year-old Lee. Awkward moments abound as they try to navigate a grownup life that they aren't quite ready for.

s/s 2012 has been quite the ride for me. in regards to work, i spent a good chunk of it in south korea, shooting a documentary on korean folk medicine (more on that at a later time).

the day after i returned stateside, i got in a car and drove to visalia, california, to start production on ripe, a feature film shot completely on location in the central valley.

we've completed most of principal photography, but we've got a few more scenes and some pick-ups, as well as the entirety of post-production to get through.

a couple of projects i'm working on need some financial assistance:

a doc i've just signed on board for, which will follow two candidates during the upcoming presidential elections in haiti. still in the developmental phases, but urgently needs $$$ for production to move forward, as time is of the essence.
