summer is almost here!

and you know what that means! MOVIES!!!

while you're sitting in the theater eating your tub of popcorn this summer, please take some time to consider this:



note: just so you dudes don't feel threatened, this isn't about hating and/or boycotting movies with male leads. it's about having more movies/stories with strong, interesting female characters that don't deal with romance or other troubles with men as their main storyline (looking at you, sex and the city). there are awesome movies/stories with male characters that don't have them trying to hook up with a girl and get married all the time, and it's important to have the same for women.
